Sally Peterson

Lyrical Head Coach


Sally has been involved in the industry for 30 years. She trained with Lynda Mathis before finishing school with VCE Dance Excellence and attending full time training with Tony Bartuccios, Danceworld and Dance Factory.

During which time Sally had a successful dance career for over 10 years, participating in prestigious events and performances throughout

Melbourne and Australia.


Sally has had a teaching career for over 25 years, teaching all styles of dance. She has taught at many schools including: Mordialloc Dance Centre Director, Bartuccios Dance Centre, Electric Dance Connection, The Peninsula School, Elizabeth Murdoch College, Sandringham Secondary College,  Monash University Dance and our club since 2019.


She has been Head Coach for Mathis Dance studios for over 6 years, choreographing and training two teams for the All Star competition season and also representing Australia at the IASF Dance Worlds in 2017 & 2019. 


Marcia Miao

Hip-Hop Head Coach



Marcia has been training in dance for over 15 years. She started her dance experience as a member of the  successful Haileybury College Dance Program.


This talented dancer was also a member of the Monash University Hip Hop team, who achieved AASCF National University Dance Grand Champions in 2015 & Australian University Games Hip Hop Champions in 2015 and 2016. Marcia represented Australia at The Dance Worlds 2018 with her Hip Hop crew Imperial (Halleybury Alumni), placing 8th in the International Open Hip Hop All Girl division, and choreographed the Team Australia University Dance Hip Hop duo that competed at FISU World University Cheerleading Championships in Poland (2018).

In 2019, Marcia coached and choreographed “Hercules”, Monash University Premier Hip Hop team, who received the title of National Champions for the FISU division, and was also the Assistant Coach of our Open Hip Hop team “Sirens”.
